Push notifications: daily debt reminder and morning summary

A shop owner is busy all day and does not always have time to open the app and check. Push notifications bring the important things to you: a new debt was recorded, a payment came in, there are debts coming due. What to be reminded of and when is up to you.

What notifications you get

Push notifications work in the mobile app and come in several kinds. A message about a new debt or payment — you know about every entry your sellers make right away. A daily reminder — the state of your debts at the hour you choose. A morning summary — a short greeting notification at the start of the day. You are also warned when your plan is about to expire.

Received notifications are kept on the “Notifications” screen in the app and deleted after 10 days. So if you missed something important, you can go back to it within the week.

If notifications are switched off, a warning appears on the profile screen: you will not get reminders about debts or about your plan expiring. The “Turn on” button takes you to the right setting. On the “Notifications” screen, debt reminders, payments and pDaftar news sit in one list — you read the news there as well.

  • New debt or payment — immediately
  • Daily debt reminder — at the time you choose
  • Morning summary — at the start of the day
  • Plan expiring — in advance

Setting the reminder time

On the “Notification Settings” screen in your profile you choose two times. “Reminder time” sets when the daily debt reminder arrives; the default is 20:00 in the evening. “Morning greeting time” sets when the morning summary arrives; the default is 08:00. Adjust both to your working day. The time is picked to the hour, and the reminder arrives within that hour. This setting belongs to your profile, not to a shop: even with several shops, there is one time.

On the same screen you can switch “Push notifications” off entirely. If the app has not been given permission in the phone settings, the app tells you and points you to the system settings.

A push when a due date is near

SMS reminders go to the customer; a push goes to you. In the “Push settings” section of your shop settings you set how many days before the due date, on the due date and after it a push arrives, and you choose the “Push send time”. That way, on the day the customer gets an SMS, you also know who to call.

These settings are independent of the SMS schedule: the customer’s SMS can go out two days before the due date while your push arrives only on the due date itself. A push also arrives when your plan is close to expiring — extend it without delaying the payment. If you have several shops, due-date pushes follow each shop’s own settings.

Push or Telegram bot — which one you need

A push is a quick reminder on your phone screen; the Telegram bot is a detailed daily summary with numbers. Most owners use both: push shows what is happening during the day, the bot wraps up the evening with figures. Push works only in the mobile app, and its settings are there too.

How to use it

  1. In the mobile app open “Notification Settings” from your profile.
  2. Check that “Push notifications” is on; if it is off, allow notifications for the app in your phone settings.
  3. Under “Reminder time” pick the hour for the daily debt reminder.
  4. Under “Morning greeting time” set when the morning summary arrives.
  5. In “Push settings” in your shop settings, set how many days before and after the due date a push arrives.
