Product statistics: what sells and what just sits on the shelf
There is money sitting in your stock, but which products hold it is hard to tell. One item sells every day, another has been sitting there for six months, a third is going out at a loss. pDaftar product statistics pull those answers out of your stock and sales records for you.
Stock value and expected profit
The “Products” tab of the “Statistics” page opens with the “Stock value” card. You can view it on two bases: “Sale price” — what the remaining stock would bring if sold at today’s prices, and “Cost price” — how much money is tied up in it. The difference between the two is shown as “Expected profit”.
Products with no cost price are left out of the profit calculation, and the app shows their number separately. That is why entering the cost price when you receive goods makes this card more accurate. The card counts only products that are in stock — sold-out items are not part of the stock value.
Problem products at a glance
The tab has several lists, and each one answers a single question. “How long will stock last?” uses the last 30 days of sales to estimate how many days each product’s stock will hold out. “Selling below cost” shows products whose sale price is lower than their cost price, with the loss per unit.
“Dead stock” lists products not sold since a set number of days. “Out of stock” are those whose quantity has reached zero, and “Running low” are those that dropped below the threshold set in your settings. The “Best selling” and “By supplier” lists show which products and which suppliers are feeding the shop.
- How long will stock last? — based on 30 days of sales
- Selling below cost — loss per unit
- Dead stock, Out of stock, Running low
- Best selling and By supplier
Daily sales and sales history
The “Daily sales” view takes a single day and lists which products sold, how many, and how much revenue they brought, with a “Total” row at the bottom. Switch the day to see yesterday’s or last week’s sales.
“Sales history” shows every sale by date, and returned goods appear here as well. The lists can be filtered by supplier or by product — for example, to see how one supplier’s goods alone are selling.
From numbers to decisions
The “Dead stock” list gives you candidates for a discount or a return to the supplier. The “Running low” list is what needs ordering today, and “How long will stock last?” tells you how urgent it is. For anything on the “Selling below cost” list, recheck the sale price or the cost price — more often than not, a wrong price was entered when the goods came in.
The “By supplier” view shows whose goods turn over fastest — useful when deciding who gets your next order.
Who can see it and where it works
Product statistics reveal your shop’s margin, so by default only the owner sees them. For a seller, you switch them on separately with the “Product statistics” permission in the permissions matrix. In the web version the same data lives in the product statistics section of the Dashboard page.
The statistics sit on top of your stock records: as long as goods received and sales are recorded per product, the numbers appear on their own.

Frequently asked questions
Do the statistics work if I do not enter cost prices?
They do, but the profit and loss figures skip products without a cost price. The app shows how many products were left out.
Can I change the “Running low” threshold?
Yes. In the shop settings you set the “Running-low threshold” value yourself.
Can a seller see the margin?
Not by default. Only if you grant them the “Product statistics” permission in the permissions matrix.
Is this section available on the free plan?
Yes, product statistics are open on every plan. The main thing is to keep your stock records up to date.
