In-app AI assistant: instant answers, a human operator when needed

“How do I cancel a debt?”, “How do the tariffs differ?” — questions like these send you hunting through a manual. pDaftar has an AI assistant built into the app: you type a question, and because it knows how the app is laid out, it tells you exactly where to tap. For a tricky case, an operator steps in.

What the AI knows

The AI assistant works from the full pDaftar manual: the home screen, products and warehouse, cash register, statistics, profile, debts and SMS sections. So to a question like “Where do I add a seller?” it gives the exact path rather than a vague reply. It is also given the current tariff information, so it answers plan questions too. The pDaftar team keeps the manual up to date as the app changes.

Replies come in the app’s language. The chat screen offers ready-made questions to get started: “What is pDaftar?”, “How do I record a debt?”, “How do the tariffs differ?”. One message can be up to 1000 characters; if you send a great many requests in a row, the app asks you to wait a minute. The chat opens only for signed-in users.

Asking with a screenshot

If you hit an error or a confusing screen, use “Attach image” to add a screenshot to your question — AI looks at the image and answers. If the image fails to upload, the question still gets a reply based on the text. When something goes wrong in the app, a “Did something go wrong? Take a screenshot and send it to us.” message with a “Get help” button appears at the bottom and takes you straight to the chat.

You can also open the chat from the help button that sits at the edge of the screen; it shows on every screen of the app and can be dragged to a convenient spot.

When an operator steps in

After every reply the app asks “Was the AI assistant helpful?”: you tap “Helpful”, “Not helpful” or skip. Cases the AI could not answer are flagged separately, and the pDaftar team reviews them.

The operator’s reply lands in the same chat with an “Operator” label — there is no need to switch to another app; if the chat is open, the reply simply appears. The conversation history is saved, so when you open the chat later the earlier questions and answers are still there; if the history fails to load, the app offers to try again. If it is urgent, use the “Message on Telegram” button under “Still need help?” to write to the team on Telegram.

For employees too

The AI assistant is not only for the owner. A seller employee opens the same chat from their own app and gets an answer to a question like “How do I record a stock receipt?”. Every user has their own chat, so an employee’s questions never mix with the owner’s conversation. This saves time when training a new employee: point them to the AI assistant and they learn the app’s sections by asking for themselves.

What not to ask

The AI assistant talks about the app; it does not change your customers’ data and does not record debts on your behalf. It answers “where” and “how” questions, and you carry out the action yourself. Requests unrelated to the app get a short refusal. If it replies that something is not in its manual, mark the answer “Not helpful” — that flag is how the team fills in the gaps in the manual.

How to use it

  1. In the app tap the help button at the edge of the screen, or choose “Get help” in the error message.
  2. Type your question or tap one of the ready-made questions.
  3. If needed, add a screenshot with “Attach image”.
  4. Rate the reply as “Helpful” or “Not helpful”.
  5. If that is not enough, wait for the operator’s reply in the chat or tap “Message on Telegram”.
