Business directory: find pDaftar shops nearby and list your own
A new supplier or partner is usually found through someone you know. There are thousands of shops on pDaftar, but they cannot see each other. The “Community” section fixes that: you see other businesses by category and distance, and they see you.
What the directory shows
The section is called “Community” and sits in the profile settings. The list shows the businesses that have published a listing: name, business type, a short description, address and contact number. If a number is given, the “Call” button connects you straight away.
You narrow the list down by category with the “All business types” filter. There are two sort orders: “Newest members” or “Nearest”; in the second you can cap the distance in kilometres. To search by distance, your shop’s location has to be set.
Publishing your own business
The “My business listing” button opens the listing form: business name, business type (required), a short text about the business, a contact number and an address (optional). Turn on “Show in community” and save — from that moment other pDaftar users can see you.
Right there the app spells it out: other people see only the information in this form, and the shop location is used to calculate distance. Your clients, debts, sales and other bookkeeping never reach the directory.
The form does not open empty: the business name and business type are taken from the shop settings, and you only check them and change them if needed. The list of business types is the same as in the shop settings — groceries, building materials, clothing and so on. If the description says what you sell, whether you work wholesale or retail, and your opening hours, people looking for you understand faster. The contact number is written in international format, starting with “+”.

Hiding and deleting
You can hide the listing at any time: turn off “Show in community” and save — the details are kept, but the listing leaves the list. “Delete listing” removes the record entirely. Only the shop owner manages the listing; sellers cannot change it.
If the listing’s owner has logged out of the app or the shop’s ownership has changed, the listing automatically stops showing in the directory. That way the list contains only businesses that are still active today.
The next step after the directory
The directory is a place to get acquainted. Once you find the business you need, you call them or add them as a supplier — through “Nearby suppliers” or by scanning their QR code. After that, ordering from the catalog and transaction confirmation start working. The web version has the same section — if a longer description is easier to type at a computer, fill in the listing there.
If the list is long, “Load more” loads the rest. If nothing turns up, set the filter back to “All business types” or widen the distance — the distance cap applies only in the “Nearest” sort order.
How to use it
- Open “Community” in the profile settings.
- Pick a business type in the filter and set the distance in the “Nearest” sort order.
- Find the business you need and get in touch through “Call”.
- To publish yourself, tap “My business listing” and fill in the form.
- Turn on “Show in community” and tap “Save”.
Frequently asked questions
If I publish a listing, are my clients or debts visible?
No. Only the name, business type, description, phone and address you wrote in the listing form are shown. Bookkeeping data is never opened to anyone.
Why doesn’t the “Nearest” sort order work?
To search by distance and to publish a listing, the shop location must be set in the business settings. Add the location and try again.
Is this available on the free plan?
Yes, both browsing the directory and publishing your own listing are available on every plan.
What if I have several shops?
You publish a separate listing for each shop. In the directory they appear as separate entries, each with its own address and business type.
