pDaftar in 4 languages: Uzbek, Russian, English and Karakalpak
Not everyone in a shop speaks the same language: the owner works in Uzbek, the seller studied in Russian, the partner in Nukus prefers Karakalpak. The pDaftar mobile app works in four languages, and each person picks the one that suits them on their own phone.
Which languages are available
The app interface is available in Uzbek (Latin script), Russian, English and Karakalpak. Menus, buttons, messages and settings all appear in the language you choose. Karakalpak was added separately because for shops in Karakalpakstan Russian or Uzbek is not always the comfortable choice.
The language is stored on the phone where the app is installed and does not depend on the phone’s own language. Even if your phone is in Russian, you can use the app in Uzbek. If your seller picks Russian on their phone, your app stays in Uzbek. One shop, one database — but everyone’s screen in their own language.
- Uzbek — in Latin script
- Russian
- English
- Karakalpak
When and where you choose the language
The first time the app opens, a “Select language” screen appears — before registration. So everything is in a language you understand right from the sign-in screen: the phone number, the password, the hints about the SMS code. Picked the wrong language in a hurry? No harm done — you fix it later in the settings with one tap.
Later on you switch the language under Profile → “App language”. Mark the one you need in the list and the app switches immediately — no signing in again, no reinstalling. If you like, switch to another language for a minute, show the screen to a customer and switch back.
What does not change with the language
The language affects only the interface. Client names, product names, notes — they stay exactly as you typed them and are never translated. The text of an SMS to a client does not depend on the app language either: whatever language the template is written in, that is the language the client receives. If your clients are Russian speakers, you can use the app in Uzbek and write the template in Russian.
Reports and numbers do not change either. Amounts, dates and balances are the same — only column headings and buttons appear in the chosen language. In Karakalpak, dates and month names are shown in the Uzbek format. So do not be afraid to switch languages: not a single record is affected.
Handy for the team
When you add a new seller, you do not spend time explaining the app: they pick their language and the buttons explain themselves. You carry on working on your own phone in the language you are used to. One team can have three different languages and it gets in nobody’s way. A stock-in or sale recorded by the seller shows up on your screen in your language — the data is the same, only the headings are in each person’s language. Error messages and hints also appear in the chosen language, so the seller sorts out many questions on their own.
The language setting belongs to the mobile app and is stored on each phone separately. If you install the app on a new phone, you choose the language once more — it takes a few seconds and does not affect your account.

Frequently asked questions
If I change the language, will my clients and products be translated?
No. The language affects only menus and buttons. The names, titles and notes you typed do not change.
Can my seller work in a different language?
Yes. The language is stored separately on each phone. The seller picks their own language and your app does not change.
Can I send SMS in Karakalpak?
The SMS text goes out exactly as it is written in the template. Write the template in Karakalpak and the client receives it in Karakalpak.
My phone is in English — which language will the app open in?
On first launch the app asks you to choose. After that your choice is saved and does not depend on the phone’s language.
