How to set up an installment plan for a customer on your phone
You have sold a phone or a fridge on installments — and now, for the next six months, you need to remember who pays what and when. On paper that schedule gets messy fast. In pDaftar you only type the monthly payment and the number of months; the app works out the rest and lays it out as a schedule.
What goes into the agreement
An installment agreement is created from the customer’s card, in the “Installment” section. The page asks for the customer’s name, what you sold, the monthly payment, the number of months and the down payment. The down payment is optional — if the customer paid nothing up front, simply leave the field empty.
You never type the total separately. The app calculates it as monthly payment × number of months + down payment and shows the result at the bottom of the form. So if you and the customer agreed on “this much per month”, that is the exact number you enter — no arithmetic on your side.
- Customer’s name and the name of the product you sold
- Monthly payment and number of months — the total is calculated from these
- Down payment — optional; it appears in the schedule as an already paid row
- Currency — UZS or another currency set up in your shop
How the payment schedule is built
You pick a payment day of the month — say, the 10th. The first payment falls on that day next month, and the rest repeat on the same date every month. Every row of the schedule is stored with its own date, amount and status.
The amounts are split into equal parts. In UZS each row comes out as a whole number; in other currencies, with at most two decimal places. Any leftover that does not divide evenly is added to the last payment, so the schedule always adds up to exactly the total.
Document and SMS settings
You can attach a photo or a PDF of the paper agreement you signed with the customer — one file, up to 10 MB. If a dispute comes up later, the document sits on the agreement page and opens with one tap.
On the same page, under “SMS notifications”, you set the reminders: type a number of days into “How many days before?” and “How many days after?”. If you leave them empty, the defaults apply — 2 days before and 1 day after. As soon as the agreement is saved, the customer receives an SMS about it, and the follow-up reminders are scheduled around each payment date.
The app does not take on the legal side of the deal: this is a mutual agreement between you and the customer, and pDaftar does not act as a guarantor. That is exactly why attaching the document is worth doing.
Price and limit
Creating an installment agreement is a paid service. If your plan includes an installment limit, each agreement is counted against that limit. Once the limit is used up, or if your plan has no limit at all, the fee for every new agreement is taken from your wallet.
If there is not enough money in the wallet, the app shows the price of the service before creating the agreement and offers to top up your balance — there are no surprise charges. Limits and prices are listed on the pricing page.
What you see in the web version
The agreement itself is created in the mobile app. In the web version, the customer’s card shows the list of agreements with the total, paid and remaining amounts, and you can accept payments there too. Everything lives in one database, so an agreement created on your phone appears on your computer right away.

- Tap “Set up installment” — the schedule is created and the customer receives an SMS.
Frequently asked questions
Can I set up an installment plan with no down payment?
Yes. The down payment is an optional field. If you leave it empty, the total equals the monthly payment × the number of months.
When is the first payment due?
Next month, on the day of the month you picked. If you choose the 15th, the first payment falls on the 15th of next month.
Can I create an agreement in dollars?
Yes. You choose the currency when creating the agreement. In UZS the amounts are split into whole numbers; in other currencies, to two decimal places.
Is the installment agreement available on the free plan?
The section is open on every plan, but each agreement is a paid service: it uses your plan limit or your wallet balance. Prices are on the pricing page.
